Ritual for Better Sleep

Sleep is sacred. It’s where we heal, rejuvenate and reset. But deep, quality sleep isn’t always easy to come by.

Here’s a simple bedtime ritual using our Peace Mist and Peace Balm to support a more restful, restorative night.

       

Step 1 – Switch Off

Put your phone away at least 1-2 hours before bed. Blue light disrupts our natural melatonin production and keeps the nervous system alert, even when we think we’re relaxing. Replace doom scrolling with a good book! 

Step 2 – Night Tea Ritual

Make yourself a warm, caffeine-free drink. We love herbal tea or a hot chocolate blend that includes passionflower or lemon balm - herbs known to ease tension and support the body into a more relaxed, sleepy state.

Step 3 – Set the Light

Dim the lights. Our brains are wired to respond to natural rhythms, and harsh lighting at night can trick us into staying alert longer than we should. Soft, ambient lighting signals that it’s time to unwind.

Step 4 – Mist Your Space

Just before bed spritz our Peace Mist around your bedroom and over your bedding. Let the scent begin to shift the energy of the space - calling in calm, stillness, and rest.

Step 5 – Anoint With Intention

Gently rub a small amount of Peace Balm onto your hands, wrists and temples. This blend of lavender, vetiver, clary sage, and cedar is designed to soothe the nervous system and an overactive mind. Breathe it in. Let it’s scent be your signal to slow down, imagining its calming properties weaving it’s magic through your nervous system.
